1732 King George II

Evolution

New member
Hunted a nice 1791 homesite today and pulled a few keepers from the ground. Got a nice solid coin hit on my new Etrac (11-44) in the back yard that was pinpointing at 6-7 inches deep. Pooed out a nice big copper coin at 7 inches and it turned out to be a sweet King George II halfpenny. Also found this other relic that was Identified as a late 1600s-early 1700s horse pommel by someone on another forum.

Great finds! That KG half penny is in great shape :clapping: Were too young out here (1840's) to have anything like that. Thanks for sharing.

The KG looks great - congrats !

Very nice King George. Great detail.

Cleaned it up a bit. Here's a couple more pics.
