18 inch Round DD Excelerator

Can anybody tell me if the 18 inch round excelerator DD coil will work on a Sovereign XS.
The coil I have obtained is from an Sov GT but the coil is very very weak on the Sov XS.
The coil is marked "Excelerator E" with serial number 7102. The cable plug fits the Sov XS.

Blimey! I thought somebody would have a clue.....Are these coils so bad that nobody has used them?

FG,I don't know anyone who uses the 18 inch Excelerator coil.For small coin size objects this 18 inch coil maybe too large and difficult to difficult to use.Not sure if it would work well for larger objects.Wish I could give you more information on the 18 inch Excelerator coil. Good Luck Ron
