1837 hard times token

Congrats on a great find !

I found two of the same 1837 "President Martin Van Buren Hard Times Tokens" last year.
Their a great piece of history - you can read more about them if you do a Google search.
 
George, Nice finds. I will most likely go back to Rocky Hill in the open field when the tall weeds die and shrivel up. I found an old fork with engraving there but was hard to swing the coil because of the weeds. Dave

I found these at the slave field we went to and spoke to owner of the 1700s old house where u found british penny..it was on the woods that I found it.I exhausted those woods lol.
 
That's an awesome find. Definitely on my bucket list...
