1840 House Site revisited

Went back to where I got five Indian Cents and the Two Cent piece a
few weeks ago. The 1943 dime gave a target ID like a quarter of half
dollar (00-26 to 00-29). The 1941 quarter and 1927-D nickel were
in the same hole and had a target ID of 03-19. I didn't hear the silver
ring out until I used the probe. I'll go back today and see what else is
hiding amongst the iron. Got several good sounding signals that read
pretty deep, but they're under large rocks and tree roots. I think I'd have
to make a good sized crater in the yard to get at them.

The silver is sweet and the Buff nickle looks to be in pretty
good shape. Your ground is a lot kinder to nickles than ours.
Congratulations on a good hunt and hope you can get to
the other coins that are under the tree roots.

Nice finds MAcle1997.:clapping: Digging under tree roots can be a pain in the rear at times, but can also be very rewarding. Bet you will be back at that place soon. Good luck and HH.
