1850 Farm House

stubbs1

New member
:detecting:My niece & her husbund bought this place in the country, The house was built in 1850. Needless to say I got permission to hunt. Its been really hot so I've hunted twice for about 2 hrs each time. Only 2 silver so far but I'm not out of the back yard yet. The buckles & buttons are kind of neat. I don't know how old they are but they are neat finds. GL EVERYONE

Nice finds stubbs 1.:clapping: I bet there has got to be some other cool stuff there if nobody has detected this place before. Good luck and HH.

Cool finds, especially those relics. I found a buckle with a heart just like yours and was told it dated to Civil War era. I found it in S. Ohio where I also found a seated dime and some really old Indian Head cents. Keep digging those deep targets and I bet you're going to find some really old coins and other goodies. HH

Nice finds. For the most part, I have always found better keepers in the front yards. Good luck on your next visit and thanks for the post.
