1860 British Penny

Gday :ausflag:

I braved the rain showers, cold and high winds this morning for a 3 hour hunt.
Besides $53.45c , I also was lucky enough to jag an old 1860 penny.
Our city /state was only formed in 1836 so it is old for here.
I just love those old Queen Victoria coins. :)
To me, the big surprise was that it was only 1.5 " down
After locating it with a screwdriver, I just pulled it out with long nosed pliers
Most of these old coins are deeeep.
Happy swinging

Not too bad, around $17.00 per hour plus a 1860 Penny as a bonus!

Beats working for a boss!

Well done.

Danno :)

Very nice indeed Terra! I'd love to find one of those. Still haven't crackled 1900 yet. Not too shabby on the modern stuff either.Any day over $50, is a good day.
