1898 V Nickel and other finds

Got out Saturday with my new SE Pro and went to a yard which has produced a lot of coins around 1900 last year with my Explorer II. I got a funny reading near Nickel range and decided to dig since I have found a lot of good coins in the yard. When I got down about 6 inches found a 1943P silver nickel with a 1946 Nickel under it.

A few feet away got another Nickel reading and dug about 7 inches and up came the 1898 V Nickel in pretty good shape considering.

A few feet further away came up with a 1890 Indian Head.

Well just another few feet away got a really funny signal near Nickel range as well. After digging down 8 inches I found the Anchor Button; think may be off a old Navy uniform.

Also found 4 wheats: 1910, 1941, 1942d, 1945.

Not a bad few hours of hunting.

I like posting if people find it intersting; so thanks for your kind comments.

Sounds like a good yard. Hopefully it holds a few more secrets. Congrats
