1901 Barber

steve in so la

Well-known member
I dug a rarity here in so az - a 1901 Barber dime. These are few & far between in our area. I'm sure you guys get them with some regularity but here it's unusual. I have it soaking to try and clean up some.
Also dug about 35 coins, junk jewelry. steve in so az

I know how much you like to find them old coins. Congrats buddy!

Fantastic find, Steve! You're one up on me because I've not found a Barber coin yet. Mike and others, in the club, find them though.

congrats! a barber dime was my first silver coin I found...almost 20 years ago ...yes, I still have it...congrats again and good luck huntin!

Nice Steve!

Not common here either Steve. Is that coin as rough as it looks in the pic?

Jeff

It sure is that rough which is very unusual here in the dry desert. Most silver comes out and only needs a light bath. steve
