Still waiting 4 my 1st 1.

Barry,

Nice find. Are Indian Heads that rare? I found one (188:geek: a couple of weeks ago on the Maryland side of the Potomac. Not knowing coins, I assumed it wasn't that difficult a find.

Thanks Rick and Jonathon.

Tom.....I don't know how rare they are, I'm not much a coin hunter, maybe they are just few and far between where I have hunted.

Barry,

Same here, new to coins and don't know much at all. The one I found was an 1888 (for some reason the censor decided to change the last 8 to a smiley face in the last post).

Heading out to Berryville, VA tomorrow to work an area under some high tension wires that has stymied most machines. Last time I was there I found two nice dropped sharps bullets in about 20 minutes and the Safari worked like a champ under the wires. Mosby spent some time on this property with his cav and there were NY Infantry and Cav that passed through and skirmished with the Raiders.

Later,
TomH

with your Se Ngrelic.:super: It doesn't look as bad as I would have thought since I have seen a lot worse. Should be some nice shiny Barbers around there so keep looking. Good Luck and HH to you when you return to that site.:detecting:
