1907 Barber Quarter tonight!

well got in a 2.5 hour hunt tonight after work. Guess the rainbow on Monday was a good sign. Pulled a 1907 Barber Quarter from about 7". It was on a 45 degree angle. I saw the silver edge and thought - oh yeah! There is silver at this site. Needless to say I was very happy when I saw it was a barber in very good condition. I love the eagle design on this coin. It was a great night!
HH!
:super:

That's a very nice Barber quarter. I'd be going back there for sure.

Love it when I find a coin in that kind of shape. You may want to take along a bottle of water with you so you can wash the dirt off of the coin so it has less of a chance of leaving scratch marks on it. I am very careful with high grade coins and will go back to the vehicle and put them in a cup holder so this does not happen. Sure is a beautiful coin those Barber Quarters and you definitely had a great night. Hope many more are waiting to be plucked and Good Luck and HH.

Congrats that is an awesom find. Full liberty, and a beautiful rim. Glad to see it liberated out of the ground with out a scratch.

it's a beautiful coin! I must have nicked the edge with a screwdriver but you can't see that or micro scratch with naked eyes. Must have been made by super small gravel in dirt that I grinded with my thumb to see what I had found. and no I normally don't remove anything until i have proper liquids etc. but sometimes I really just want to see what i found! *L*

i'd say it's a $40-50 coin. good luck this w/e!~
