Haven't been doing much hunting this year, only gotten out a handful of times. The two injuns and merc came from the same property that I've hit a couple times this year. Got out yesterday with my buddy and he takes me to a school that we haven't hit before. It was a park before it was a school, so we thought it might produce. Only one oldie for the day, but it was a good'n, a 1914 D wheat! Unfortunately it was in soil that really ate it up, usually copper comes out of the ground looking a whole lot better than this in my area. Oh well, after a peroxide bath I can see all of the detail of the coin at least, still pretty corroded though. I see them going for $50+ in this condition on fee-bay, so I can't complain. HH!!
