1929 Caddie Badge

Can't find a lot of info about Caddie Badges. The Ridgemoor CC came into existence in the early 1900 and is the home of the Ridex Cup an annual state competition of the states best armatures and PGA pros. I'm guessing by the badges would have been issued to identify the caddies for some type of professional tournament. Any metal detecting golfers out there have any suggestions.

Never took up the game of golf. Too much frustration. But that is a very nice find. Especially with the age of the piece.

I bet if you talked to the secretary of the Ridgemoor C.C, he/she would be able to do some research in their historical records and might be able to provide you with the name of the caddy and more info; re; your badge! I see their club is still in existence so that's the route I would take!
