1st 2014 hunt = silver and surprise!!!

Went out for a quick hunt on a nice day. Had permission to hunt a local attorneys office which is an older home in town (191. Didn't find much at first but found out why later. Finally found a few wheaties (1935, 1940, 1945, 1945s and 1951) and my first ever mercury head (193!!! But best find and the reason I may not have found more was this Ground EFX CHILDS DETECTOR!!!! Found it buried under some leaves. Looked broken and didn't have any batteries. Asked the landowner if it was a grandkids. He said he had not given anybody permission to hunt his land and didn't know whose it was. I got it home and fixed it!! Works great!! I'll give it to a niece who has been interested in detecting and maybe start her in the hobby!!!
