Both were in a very well hunted area.
Both were 6+" deep and on edge or tilted badly. I was very lucky (if you believe in luck) to not nick either of these two coins.
The ground is very hard on any type of clad coins including the V nickel

I don't really have a story on this one. I was just excited to find two good targets in a heavily hunted area.
