1st gold (almost) and 1st gold!

Got excited when I pulled the first ring out of the dirt. It's rolled gold plate 10K, so it's technically gold I guess. The next ring is the real deal -- 14K with five small cut diamonds. I think it's a wide men's wedding band. Found about 5" deep on an old unused soccer field. My first gold!! Couldn't get a good picture of the markings, but the loupe shows 14K. Once the snow melts and the temps rise, you know I'll be back out there.

Very nice finds indeed! I was chasing the same thing today and as of late I got skunked again! So don't hesitate to speak up if you need any help in that field after the thaw.

Looks like a test to me. God wanted to see how thankful you were with the gold plate before he blessed you with the full carrots. Congratulations on your finds. George
