Hit the beach today and got my 1st gold from the Safari, 1st gold ever too. It was down about 8-9" in the wet sand using the 6x8 sef coil. I was trying out the smaller coil in a heavily iron infested beach, A.C., NJ. It came up as a solid 14. It is a Womans black onyx cameo broach, 6.5 grams, 14kt stamped on the back. It looks early 1900's circa.
