That Excal is going to amaze you at how great it does at the beach. Double check every tone change.
 
I've found quite a few gold rings with my Excalibur. They didn't all sound the same. Last summer I found a 14kt white gold engagement ring that had a very deep tone, much like iron. Also, found a 14kt yellow gold man's bracelet that sounded the same.
But, found some 14kt wedding rings that had a much higher pitched sound. Anybody know why the sounds are so different?
