1st outing with my new Sunray X-5 coil...WOW!

I was absolutely amazed at the number of targets I heard with the X-5 that I missed with the X-8. Gobs of lead pieces, 22 cartridges, tiny low conductive pieces and a few goodies too. Got a large cent that I haven't been able to read the date on it yet. 5 flat buttons, 2 flower buttons, IHS or ISH button, 1900 and 1903 indian, and the best find of the day was this 1832 Bust half dime. I was happy to see that feller come out of the dirt!!!

That Half Dime is in terrific shape! Looks like you will be hunting with the X-5 quite a bit from now on. Keep those kind of finds coming. Good Luck and HH.

Hey buddy, sounds like you had a fun time. Congrats on the bust half dime!

Boy! We don't have much opportunity to find this kind of age or quality coins here in east TN. That is one fine piece of treasure.

I have a 5 inch Minelab that I haven't used yet; relying on a 4.5 x 7 Excelerator coil instead. Heads-up, how would the two compare I wonder? (the Minelab 5 versus the X5)
