been doing some research on old schools in my area found one prior to 1860 then was moved in 1883. Tonight I found a small button very similar to one of the ones I saw earlier in another post on here . It`s my first sign as to hopefully being in the right spot. Will keep you updated if it gives up any nice treasures. Although I don`t consider the button small it was close to the size of a dime (bit smaller) and it hit very solid. I was quite surprised to find it 7" deep.I`ve got to get a longer digger to retrieve what my Sovereign`s finding...lol
 
if that is in the ground , you are in bussness, that ground has never been intimate with a detector . silver is waiting and other good things Go back and keep hunting
