2 Great days of plundering Treasure

G'day :ausflag:

There doesnt seem to be alot happening up north ...maybe due to Winter snow and ice so I thought I'd cheer you up with some finds from Downunder
Last week I hunted after a music festival for 4 hours (right hand side of photo) for odds and ends and $129.05 ...a new daily PB for me.
The next day, although tired I was woken up at home very early by nearby construction workers so unable to continue sleeping I got up and went out detecting
For the next 4 hrs I did the surrounds of a recent big sporting event .
The $63 + jewellery (left hand side of photo) has my monthly tally happily accumulating towards my next detector purchase ( Minelab Excalibur)
Happy swinging

I could hunt here in Virginia...problem is I don't have any Din-O-Mite to blow a hole in the ground. Was 10f here in Va this morning and the wend blowing to 50 mph:nopity: Very nice finds. TomB

Great finds and thanks for sharing, I cannot believe the variety of amazing nice stuff you found! Good weather in Australia all year around!

Tom, some advice for you, there is year around beach metal detecting in the 50th State of the US, the city of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii which is +80' F now and about +65' F at night, absolutely beautiful and warm, with green trees and grass all through the winter!...It would be good to move to Hawaii...that is a myth that it is expensive to live there...property can be bought for a reasonable price there and a person can grow a vegetable garden all year long to keep down costs. It is part of the US, English is the language there, it is a safe place to live, and there are Christian Churchs to attend. Life is way too short and there is not much time left in our lives to waste it here in these bleak long winter deep freeze weather places.

Nice group of finds. I sure wish the folks over on this side of the pond would start using the one dollar coins. It would sure add up faster than nickels and dimes. But I doubt they do until Uncle Sam stops printing the paper stuff. Good hunts! HH Randy

Hey terra

that is an amazing haul mate! I love those bits and pieces of charms and jewellery. Is that a whistle on the top right corner of the pic?

Well done!

Digger - don't forget we also have the $2 coins (the small goldies) and they are sooooo easy to lose which makes us Aussie detectorists very happy :)
