I have had my Deus for 4 months now. The tips I have gotten from this forum have helped me a lot with the learning curve. I found my best coin to date, a 1795 large cent in amazing condition. I also found this 1919 SLQ 10 inches down in a yard I had previously detected hard for three days with two friends using my AT Pro. This coin is also in amazing condition except for the hit I gave it on the very edge when I dug it up :veryangry:

I was using basic with the changes below. I am not completely happy with the settings the way I have them. I dug a lot of nails, so I have to make some adjustments or learn better what sounds to discriminate in my head. The large cent was only 4 inches deep so it was a clear signal. The SLQ rang up around 84 and was not as clean of a signal. So much to learn still.

Excellent finds! 10 inches on a quarter PLUS it IDed as such....I'm starting to see how V4 is just a little bit more desirable over V3.2...keep up the good work!
