These are some really nice full gold gilt military buttons from the Civil War era. A VMI cuff, & a cadet I dug in the "Lucky 13" era. Un-painted even Musta been sandy soil.
Took pic for a school theme...Should have made the book....oh well, definate 10's in my book :banned:

I really like that VMI Cadet button. I used to live not to far from there.(Lexington,VA) Never found one of those buttons though.

I'm sure everyone has seen it by now but I got a new camera today and the first thing I had to take a picture of in my collection was my own VMI.
