Well were done with another year of detecting and ready to start another. Due to my shoulder problems and finally shoulder surgery my totals were way down for 2004. both in coin count, dollar amount and number of hunts.
Below is my coin count. the second number is 2003 to compare.
Pennies= 857.....2221, oldest 1887
Nickels= 116......186, oldest 1896
Dimes= 222......528, oldest 1892
Quarters= 144......307, oldest 1963
halfs= 2.......3, no silver
dollar coins= 1......0, no silver
oldest coin was a 1864 two cent
Now I just need to get my strength back before spring.
