2008 Silver

I set the goal to sort through and weigh my 2008 silver by 12/15. I got it done today. This is not quite all of it. Several coins are in my brag book. A few items were given away. There are some very tiny earrings and chain pieces in small bags that I didn't want to take out to photograph. The school rings I am still trying to find the owner, or in the case of the very old ring, it's heir. Will be a fun Winter project. Spot silver is currently $10.24 the weight of the actual silver is 13.68 ounces. Actual weight of the items is slightly less than one standard pound. I transferred $140.06 into my MD savings account and the items now reside in my safe with last years silver.

great finds Chris that's a nice pile of loot for a years detecting i love finding silver almost as much as as gold.
whats the big thing at the top of the pic ???

Its aa antique pencil holder made of .800 silver. I showed it around at some antique stores and most recognized immediately. It had a pencil stuck in it when I found it right next to the very old rec center of a very old Catholic church.
