2008 TOTALS First season detecting, not too bad........

ok I finished up the last year of the hunt yesterday and got everything out today to take pictures. This is my first year detecting and I think I did pretty good considering my experience level.

This is everything grouped together in one shot. Clad total was just over $106 bucks

This is misc relics, keys, etc.....

All my jewelry finds, ended up with 16 rings total.

All my wheaties, total found was 154

12 silvers for the year, got 3 barbers, 5 Mercs, 1 Rosie, 1 seated, 1 Washington, and one war nickel

IHC, Buffs, and One V nickel. Had 13 indians, oldest being 1865, one 1907 V nickel, and 4 buff nickels

That is a great year for a newbie! Congrats! Many people that have been detecting for years don't have that good of year. Ya just have to be a go getter like you and me!

well I am pretty hardcore when it comes to detecting....lol
I hunt in all weather as much as I can, cold, windy, rain, snow, you name it. I hunted in it. I love this hobby!

I cashed the clad in shortly after taking these pics and I had $104.69 I am gonna buy old silver coins with it!

Congrats, goes4ever, you are a professional already with all those finds in one year! You and dobbie are doing really great! My total take for 2009 is ziiiiiiiiip, nada, A GREAT BIG ZERO for the whole year of not detecting! Hope you both are still going until your 100, if the Lord doesn't catch His saints up first!
