2009 Clad Totals (From me and my poor old obsolete GTI 2500)

Yeah any detector, no matter how exotic, is only as good as the guy on the other end of it. I've always stated that detecting is 10% machine and 90% operator. That's why so many have trouble mastering a detector - they expect the machine to do all the thinking and the work for them. One has to be smarter than the detector or they are two strikes behind at the get go.

I once told a feller who was bitching about what his detecor wouldn't do - " What would happen if you stood your detector up against a tree, turned it on and set it up, then walked away from it. and watched it"

He looked at me stuuned and replied, " Well nuthin, that's dumb, it can't think or do anything by itself." Then it hit him and he shot back, " Boy ain't I the world's biggest dummy."
