2013 end of year finds video

Here is a video of my 2013 finds. I dug a lot of iffy targets that I initially passed over. Many were junk as you will see, but I occasionally found a keeper for my efforts. I put my clad together with some reward $ and sold some of my equipment to purchase the 705's crazy relative~etrac I think I'm going to enjoy it. I really hope my old hunting spots show a few more goodies with the etrac.
Sorry for the bad focus on the video, I haven't got that all figured out yet. Hope you enjoy!

Nice video Ron! Looks like the 705 did well for you.

It is an amazing machine. I love all my detectors for individual reason's, but as the hours show, I favor one more than the others. Next season I will put the E-trac to the test. I don,t imagine I will take the E-trac out more than the 705 either, just based on weight, and ease of use alone. The E-trac will be visiting all my so-called hunted out sites, when I don't have any better places to go.

That's kind of what I do with my Explorer. I go back and forth between the two machines, hitting the same area with progressively smaller coils, then bigger again. With both machines, changing coils is almost like you've renewed the site. And on the Xterra, changing frequencies is as dramatically different as changing coil size.

I've said it before, and I'll keep on saying it, the 705 is the best kept secret in detecting, and one that I'll never part with for what it can do.

Ron, those some very nice finds. I would say you had a good year.

I would like to get in to water hunting some day.

Wow! What a great video and a testimony to not only the goodies you found, but ALL the trash you had to dig to get it. I pray all newcomers watch this and see that it's worth sticking with the hobby and not throwing in the towel because they dig 90% trash. Thanks for sharing!
