BRRR! Heavy wind outta the S means it will warm up this afternoon. Chip totters and ground froze, so hit the gravel totters for
a mess of loot. 7 bucks even with a 56d wheatie in the mix, no silver or gold, but a cool BSA 3yr award pin, a dollar coin, and a cheapo ring.
104 coins in 3hrs. F70 with pea rock program, 11"dd. The harsh cold wind allowed me to go to risky places not typically safe.

Thanks fellers! I'm trying to get a jump on Zeek this year. I'll tell ya, anybody else sweep those pea gravel totlots? The coins are basically suspended in air, and not flat, some of the rocks are hot, so the signals get pretty squirrly, good thing is you just sweep with the side of your foot to see what went beep, bad thing is everything is covered with the gray powder, so its hard to even see a target once you get it exposed. I think a lot of detectorists pass on the gravel lots? Or is it just my local experience here?

Even where the parents, or others sit to watch the totters

Good result Mud, you are fast excavator as Zeekys.
The gravel walkways, pretty good sites where you can find a lot of coins.
