The two mercs two B nickles and the 46 rosie all came from the same hole.
Thanks for looking.GR

you got some huntin' in buddy. That's a lot of silver and other goodies for 4 hours....heck that's a lot of silver for the whole day....or the whole week:thumbup:
You never know what will pop out and that's what makes this hobby so fun. Take care buddy

It wasn't quite what you were looking for, but turned out to be a pretty good couple of days. There was certainly enough targets
there to keep thing interesting & keep you busy.

You did well. Quite a score for 4 hours. I just came back from a couple hours at an old park. I didn't get anything but I am going to take a nap because I went to bed too early and then I am going to hit the other half of it and after that I am going to another place.

That's quite a lot of coins for 4 hrs in a farm field.
Most times the finds come a lot slower than that in fields.
Probably wasn't hunted before.
Also probably hasn't been planted in a *long* time, like you said.
Otherwise you wouldn't have gotten that spill, they would have been spread out a bit.

If they ever get around to plowing it for planting again, you'll definitely want to give it another try.
I just spent a few hours the other day in a corn/potato field around here that I've searched pretty well for a few years. Managed to get a musketball and a lead seal. Usually only get 0-2 coins out of there in a couple hours though. Far cry from your haul.

I noticed that piece that says "hayden planetarium museum of science" on it. I've been there before.

All these coin came from one area in the far end of the field.Must have been an area were kids hung out or something. It got so that I couldn't take three steps without hitting a penny.GR

Nice group of finds Golden Republic. A pocket spill is always cool and silver coins help too.

Even though you didn't get the Colonial Period Items you were hoping for, you did great and you had tremendous results. Congrats to you good buddy! Maybe your next hunt will yield something Colonial and if not, well, there maybe more of them finds like the ones you found waiting for your arrival. By the way, I think the Museum Of Science Item is the best find from that hunt and those Leaves are pretty neat also. Keep up the good work GR. Good Luck and HH on your next hunt.
