You might think that a detector 17 years old has no power....But the 87 Eagle with the 88 up date chip is about as senative as they come.....I have used alot of detectors over the years and the older Eagles are still the tops...
I went out in the yard again for a little while yesterday and put the 10" open bounty hunter loop and was finding these coin at 6+".1902.1905,1917 ..?I also found another IH after this picture...I think it is a 1889 if they made a IH then?
This is really hard for me to believe to find such old coins in our yard...There had to be something there a long time ago...We found alot of other things as well like bottle tops.
