2ND Deus

I have been hunting with the 9" coil and wanted a little more coverage when hunting fields, pastures etc. so I started to order another coil (11") but after thinking about it i ordered the Deus Lite with 11" coil. The thought was for $300 more I could get the extra rods along with another headset controller and another set of accessories. You can program the new machine with the other remote and basically have a second machine with all of your expert settings loaded and I will have an extra machine for the wife if needed. The new coil is much larger and I am anxious to see the difference in depth. After testing the 11" in my yard it appears to hit much harder than the 9". The larger coil is definitely more sensitive to emi as that is a problem around my yard. Looking forward to digging some deep relics.

WOW! I did almost the same thing! I bought the Deus WS5 package with the remote WS5 headphones and 11" coil. While researching getting a 9" coil I decided same as you, get the "Lite" pack with the 9" coil and the WS4 backphones. I use the 11" coil for coinshooting and will use the 9" coil for relic hunting in the deep woods. Have a couple dozen hours on the Deus so far and LOVE it!
