2nd Hunt for '09 - Nitro moment!

Weather was about 40 Degree's and NO WIND, so I it was actually nicer than yesterday even though it was a few degree's colder. Went to the
same park where I found my 18K lion ring.

When I saw this in my plug my heart raced! It had the weight of gold when I picked it up. Shaking I cleaned the dirt off looking for a
stamp. No stamp. Then I notice some wear on the metal where the gold color had worn off. Bummer.. :(

The stones are cut to where they have a lot of sparkle, and nice clarity, so I'm still happy with the ring. My fourth in two hunts for 2009. :clapping:

Additionally.. found an engraved 1992 Zippo lighter, Timex ladies watch (it's not ticking), 1 keys, and $3.80 in change ...

Thanks for looking ... Ron

The next one you dig up could be similar but be worth big $$$$.$$

You are making it very difficult for me to sit inside, this snow has gotta go!

I had that happen not long ago, with a nice lookng ring like yours. Still, a great day. Anytime you can break $3 USD in coins, you have done some work.
It aint like we got all them Aussie and Canuck onesies---twosies just laying around.

And try as I might, The USs Mint wont listen! They're even bringing out some new Lincoln Cents, next year - four of them!

As for dollar bills, there is actually the Greenback Society, made up of people who combat the move to eliminating the dollar bill.
Looks like we'll never get those large denomination coins into use, Bill!

Yeah our dildo-brained bureaucracy is always a century behind. The penny is absolutely of no use for anything.
