Tried some different settings. Didn't get as much trash this time. Set the Iron Mask to 0 (zero) and sounds to Ferrous. Used the Platypus coil. All the iron goes null. The bumped up the sensitivity to 19 instead of 16 in Auto. I bumped up the Threshold to just above barely audible..much louder..could have set it lower but wanted to be sure I heard the nulls. Of course dug everything that gave me a signal in 2 directions.

Still plagued by those bottle caps (crown caps) but don't want to risk losing silver that might be near those on the screen.

Just wish I could get out everyday with it to hone my learning skills.

The van just broke down (close to 200,000 miles - won't start. Turns over so thinking the fuel filter or fuel pump) in another town half hour away :sad: Luckily the church has an extra vehicle we can use til we get the van in for repairs. So not detecting for a little while now.
