New member
Here is what I received at the Christmas Party at Rick(ND's) Bronco Bar in Chaffee, N.D. this past Sunday. Tim got 1st and received a 1/10th Ounce Gold American Eagle. For 2nd Place, I got this Quarter Pound Silver Eagle to add to my James N.D. Hoard. The Indian Head is for Comparison to show how big the Silver is. This looks great next to my Last Year's 2nd Place Prize which was a One Troy Pound of Silver. These Coins sure are purrty! I would like to also say Thanks to Rick and Lavonne for the Scalloped Potatoes and the Ham they made and also for everything that they do during each of our Club Meetings during the year. Also a HUGE Thanks to Jeff Kehl and Corey Staloch for putting up with me and my finds once again this year and for all they do to keep the Club interesting. The Prizes this year were great and there were many others that got something good for there efforts and the points that they accumulated during the year. And Thanks to all the Members for not killing Me or Tim due to all the finds we were making. I can't wait to see what 2008 will bring everyone in our Club for finds and to see if Dennis can get in the top 3 again. Outstanding Job Dennis!!! I wish you all the best of Luck next season and look forward in many more great finds to come! Enjoy the Pics everyone and Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to you all. Good Luck and HH in 2008 to you all on the Forum as well.[attachment 76034 QuarterPoundFront.jpg][attachment 76035 QuarterPoundBack.jpg][attachment 76036 CertificateCover.jpg][attachment 76037 CertificateInfo.jpg]

How far would you say My Neck Of The Woods would be? 50-100 Miles? I think I will keep 323 Silver for my Final Answer Chris! I plan on getting them Posted here sometime during the weekend for all to Drool at. Just wish I could have gotten that 22 Plain Wheat Penny you got last time we hooked up. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years Chris. Look forward in getting together sometime in 2008. Good Luck and HH.:detecting:

Nice going James........... : ) Sounds like your club had some great prizes. We had our club xmas party on the 8th, but no prizes like you guys had. We all brought canned goods to give to the local food bank and a wrapped gift that we sell tickets for and have a drawing. All the money sold for tickets also goes to the food bank. Personally I would rather have an auction for the wrapped gifts as it's a lot of fun and I think we can raise a lot more money for a very good cause.

Had a long interveiw over the phone with one of the sports reporters of our local newspaper and he is hoping to run a story on that Rose Bowl ring that I found and returned to the owner. He wants to do the story around Rose Bowl time which is coming up pretty soon. If it gets printed I will post it on the forum as a good shot in the arm for all detectorists that with patience and persisitance, finding the owner of lost rings does have a happy ending. With that I want to wish you James and your family a very Merry Christmas and a productive 2008 detecting and all the other folks on this great forum. HH to all......:)

Eddie

Hey James,

Your neck of the woods is as far as anyone drives to go detecting, at least on a regular basis. That is one pile of silver. Only been snow on the ground a few weeks and I'm already jonesing for spring and detecting again.

Chris

Hope to make it up your way next summer.

Good to hear that there is a chance of you getting some kind of reward for your efforts in returning that Ring you found Eddie. Hope it works out. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to your Family as well. Good Luck and HH in 2008.:detecting:
