I detected that farm site for about 2 hours and dug all kinds of trash, what a let down! Not the first time. There may be some interesting old finds there but it will take a lot of time to weed out the trash. I detected the area from the defined line to the right where a natural spring flows, seemed to make sense. Only found two things worth taking a picture of and I don

isn't the ground frozen and if so what do you use to dig. I use a rock hunters hammer in frozen ground.It is tough going but it works .
Im waiting for the CZ7 to arrive and the temp to get higher its - 20c in toronto for the last 3 days.
the explorer don't work to good in that temp.

but it's frozen today, we now have about 9+" of snow and about -6C as I type and it's still snowing! I'm now snowed in like most but got in several hunts that should not have happened. HH, Spring is coming! Mike
