5:30AM, light SW wind off the gulf and it's 78 degrees!! Water is pouring out of my pours minutes after I start swinging and beach sand is sticking to every inch of exposed skin and wet clothing in no time.............what a mess! Hot and humid are an understatement!!!!
Every morning and into the afternoon for the past week we have awoken to thunder and lightning coming in off the water. I was only able to get 3 beach hunts in 11 days.
One hunt had the usual clad along with an eye find of twenty five bucks.....although a nice find, It came folded up along with a Tampa DL belonging to a 23 year old girl. A sucker for a pretty face, I mailed it all back to her, no note, just the DL and cash..........won't she be surprised?!
Second hunt was just clad:shrug:
And this mornings hunt found coin and this Italy 925/onyx 12.4 g Flli (Fratelli) Menegatti ring. Thought it was a class ring at fist glance. Checked out their rings on line, all are big! Looks to retail around $140.00:)
Came home around 9:30 .....Ice cold watermelon was a welcome refresher. GL ALL

WOW, now that's nicer then the run of the mill silver rings we find.

now that's nice of you to send the DL and the cash back to the pretty young lady :) I know you, you'll always find some other cash, lol

Nice job on returning the money! I would have done the same thing being that there's no doubt that the money was hers.

I would think that with all of us spending a grand or more on detecting gear, $25 won't make that much of a difference in our lives but that might not be true for the person that lost it, especially someone 23.

Watermelon is a great refresher! Nice job on returning the money and dl! Nice finds also! Congrats! Stay hydrated!
