I enjoy the hunts as much as the finds, love being out there hunting! I invested about $1400.00ish to go to Colchester England for a week of detecting at the end of last November 04. Something you ask yourself after making the plans, plane tickets and deposit payments, "WHAT IF IT RAINS"??? So I started detecting in bad weather so I would be prepared for the worst conditions in Colchester, fortunately, it only rained one day (or was it 2?) on us and it was a wimpy mist, unfortunately the rain did take out a new Fisher ID Excel one of the guys had, water got into the pinpoint button membrane and shorted it to continuous pinpoint mode. Today was a total white out it was snowing so hard and windy on the field. I was in full rain gear, hood up and detected with the wind to my side, when I had to walk into the wind and snow I just turned around and detected backwards. There is some craziness to it, I enjoyed it, LOL!!! HH, Mike
