3 hours to find my fortune

Yeah right!
But that's the nice part about this hobby, you just never know what will come out of the ground. Found a house tucked back a little from the main road. Built in '36 its been purchased by DOT for the future freeway coming through this neck of the woods. Large yard, lots of junk, but I actually didn't find that much during my search, maybe 3 bottle caps and 1/2 a dozen pull tabs. Barely made a scratch here and pretty sure I'm the first to hit it. Hope I can get through a whole bunch more before they bulldoze it and really mess things up.
Picked up a ton of copper cents, a few zincs, 14 dimes,10 quarters, oddly 1 nickel, '28,'41 & '45S mercs,3 wheats and a nice little sterling ring.
Using the Digger coil with GB tracking on, pattern 1. Normally hunt in AM but didn't feel like listening to all the noise this time.

That was a really good hunt for just three hours. Congratulations on the silver.

Nice group of finds.

There was actually another small pile of coins on another paper towel that I forgot to throw on this pile. 4 or 5 quarters, dimes and pennies. I do wish there had been more older coins but I think there is a bunch more there, I just need to get to them before someone else does or the dozer does.

Congrat's on finding a yard that has some nice silver in it. I would hit that place fast and hard before somebody else does.

Thats a good start .
