finished up the yard I was at yesterday got some clad, 3 more wheats and this large round thing, any ideas? it is brass

that makes 20 wheats so far this year, silver has to be somewhere???

what are the dates of the "wheaties"?

Could that mysterious item be part of an old style door bell?

I remember in our "old house" as a child, really enjoying turning the elongated lever around and hearing the door bell ringing .

It was ornate....like the one in your pic

Man thats a nice find!!! If I were you I would clean it up nice, maybe even brasso it and see if you can use it on your on front door!!!!
