Travis County is in Texas. There may be others too I suppose. Neat find.
As for the rest, you had yourself another workout, but did well over-all!
These goodies outa the same place?
My last hunt was short. Started late due to work getting in the way of my fun!
Old waders leaked, new ones didn't, but one wave put a cup or two of cold water "over the top"!
Three quarters and two dimes and a little junk metal.

When I got to the beach I saw alot of people hunting that spot I hit earlier in the week so I moved further out and did really well... tumbling my coins I discovered 2 of the nickels were war nickels so my silver was 5 instead of 3... I'd go out today but they are calling for thunderstorms anytime... I don't like hunting in thunderstorms I'm up to 21 gold now for the year... 20 with the Dual Field and 1 with the Sov... I may take a break in the water and hit the rocky area with my Sov GT for a few hunts...

Yesterday I patched several small leaks in my dry suit stocking feet from pebbles that get in the wading shoes I have been wearing.
Gotta come up with a better shoe.
I want to work out a deep wash-out near here, but the water is too deep for waders as I found out Friday.
I'm still toying with a stainless scoop idea for the sand /shell matrix you hunt.

Craig, I wonder where the sheriffs badge came from?? looks highly suspicious.....Is there a serial number on the back of the badge? maybe it can be traced back to it's original owner or maybe someone was posing as a sheriff and threw away the badge when he was through with whatever he did??? second thoughts....maybe we don't want to know!!!![/size]
