Took the ring in to be appraised and repaired. It had been bent pretty good.
IT ISNT REAL. I am so bummed. The jeweler said the stones weren't real but that it was definitely gold, a mix of 10 & 12K.
When he came back from straightening it, he said that he would have bet his salary that it was gold. Then he went back to do an acid test because he couldn't believe it was fake.
I am shocked.

What TID numbers did you get? When i found my first and only 10k/18k mix gold vintage ring, it read 44 on the 6" digger coil...
I was sure it was a quarter! Surprised the hell out me...

This one came in around 10. Not really knowing what gold should be, I had no idea it wasnt real. My wedding ring comes in at 20, which is what the ring I found the week prior rang up at. It wasnt real either. My wedding ring better be real.
