3 rings today 1 gold 1 925

Robert I had about 15 to 20 pieces of foil this morning (if you are saving foil I will send you a garbage bag full)
and 6 coins with the 3 rings. All the rings had some where around 40 readings on the screen. My pouch is usually full of 
cigarette packs, candy wrappers, little pieces of cans, nails, paper clips, rusty iron, washers, bottle caps and pull tabs. I dig in the sand so I usually dig almost everything.
Roy I use the F70. It is a great detector really enjoy using it. It is simple, easy to use but takes some time to get used to. It is light, excellent battery life, screen is big so I can read it, nice coil selection and can be adjusted to the conditions in the field. It is the detector that I have been looking for the past 4 years since coming back to detecting. I have tried many different detectors and spend many 100's of dollars trying this detector and that detector. I always had 2 or 3 detectors at a time but when I got the F70 I only have the F70 and that is it. I have 3 coils for it and it covers everything I want to do in my hunting.

El thanks for the encouragement and I see you are in Ohio? I suppose you cleaned out Indiana now your going to clean out Ohio? 
tvr to tell you the truth I have been out hunting coins the last month plus. I wanted to get 4,000 coins this year. Spend most of my time on the beaches and I had so many days with 5 or 10 coins that I went to the parks just to dig coins. And for the first time I have been running Disc mode instead of At mode. That was a fun few days always wondering if the detector was on. But gad I have had many days with 50 to 100 coins. I am now at 3,861 coins. This F70 sure does work fine in the Disc mode on coins. I run DE, disc @ 10 and sens @ about 65 with 0 thres and tones 2F. I am hitting the tot lots at schools and parks so don't have to go that deep. Thanks for reading and Happy Trails.....Z

Thanks for the replies, appreciated... Go-rebels the rings came from one little tot lot. Marcomo GPS? I thought about that kind of stuff but it would bring me into the 21st century and I have been avoiding that like death. Jimtn and Jim R you both are right when I dig a silver coin or something gold that moment every thing changes for an instant. My heart start pumping, my eyes open wider, my reflexes improve, I look around make sure no one is watching, I put it in my pouch and want to run home, the day of detecting is done. Of course I find out it is fake when I really look at the gold plated or gold painted cheap piece of
