3 wheats out of my backyard

No pic because they really weren't anything special.. '26, '39' and '49. The special part is that I've hunted my yard repeatedly and only pulled up 3 wheats in about 6 months of hunting. Last night I hit an area of my yard that I've done probably 20-30 times and dug no wheats at. The difference is I was digging the crappier, deeper targets that I've ignored before (my yard is FULL of trash). Also, I was using a ground balance around 39, which is less than I normally use.. around 60(what it ground grabs at)
Anyhow, can't wait to get out there and really dig the deep deep stuff.

I have never tried running the GB so much lower than the actual ground. I thought that would take depth away? How does doing that help you?
Congrats on your finds...

I have no idea how it helps me, but it seemed to be cutting through the iron better. My yard has TONS of nails of various ages throughout. I can find 3-4 nails in most any hole I dig.

Thanks for the idea, worth trying and I will.
