I don't own the 3300 but...because it is a Bounty Hunter it may have the same numeric read out as the BH Time Ranger, which is as follows:

* 1 -12 foil from gum wrapper
* 20 - 33 U.S. nickel 5 cent coin
* aluminum pulltab 29 - 50
* aluminum screwcap 55 - 75
* zinc penny (post - 1982) 68 - 78
* aluminum soda pop can 70 - 105
* copper penny, clad dime 90 - 100
* quarter 25 cent coin, clad 110 - 122
* 50 cent coin, modern clad 124 - 132
* old silver dollar coin 13- - 140
* US silver Eagle $1 coin 130 - 165

The numeric read out along with the tone levels provide a very accurate estimation of what's under the coil. Your operators manual will provide the numeric read out for your machine. Or once you determine which BH machine the 3300 is in Radio Shack terms, you can go online at this website and download the manual. Hope this helps.

This is from the manual of my 3300:

0-9 Iron
10-39 Foil, nickel (typically 33), pull tab (new type)
40-49 Pull tab (old type)
50-61 Screw cap
62-76 Zinc, penny (typically 66)
77-99 Wheat cent, dime (typically 89)
100-124 Quarter (typically 112)
125-134 Franklin half (typically 129)
135-160 Silver dollar (typically 151)
161-199 Large metal object

Hope you find that useful :)
