Hi Chile!

Nice finds as usual! Does that put you at 99 or 100? The swan icon on the gold ring is the hallmark that should tell you country of origin. The TW is probably the goldsmith who made the ring. You should be able to find gold hallmarks / markings on the net to give you and id. For silver try www.925.com.

Nice nut too! Some of those junk items in your second pic are pretty interestingt - hopefully they all don't go in the trash. I personally can't wait to see your exhibit of homemade sinkers and would pay to get in to see it! Good job!

I see you have found more treasure, even on a short voyage out to sea! Did you know that if you started saving all those Lead Weights, that you could melt them down and remove the eyelets from them and sell the Lead by the Metric Ton. I believe it is around $1,000 or so for a Metric Ton. Just food for thought. Nice Rings once again MrChile. I wonder how the person felt when they noticed that they lost all their Keys and Car Alarm and Opener? I bet that it ruined their day or weekend for sure. I wonder how they lost it since they had it on one of those nifty latches? A lot of good it did. Great finds once again and I wish continued Pillaging and Plundering for thy great treasures of the sea. Good Luck and HH.:detecting::thumbup:

One for lead
One for copper and brass - How dose one tell the two apart
One for pull tabs
One for Non trash related Items.

I post a picture on the non trash related items
see if ya can Identify them tomorrow

Just stared saving the lead and copper two weeks ago though
It will add up......

As for how one can tell brass and copper apart, there is only one way and that is brass is Gold in Color and Copper is of course Copper in Color. It is hard to tell them apart though when dirty, so maybe someone here will be able to shed some light on this question.
