3khz digger=No silvers

Went out to my proven ground today,(that has been pounded to death by me), hoping to find at least one silver using my new digger coil. I only had an hour, and didn't find any silver with it, but I did get my first gold ring of the year with it! *3.3g 10k Black hills. I would have liked a silver too, but I can't complain.

I bet I've been over that spot ten times in the past. It's kinda ironic that I found a pc of gold with the one coil that is not particularly ideal for gold items in a spot that shouldn't have given it up.
Well, Happy Hunting everyone!

Oh ya, that makes gold ring number 4 from this site!

Congratulations!
I had a similar experience with the 6" DIGGER. Found a 10k bracelet at a place that's given up silver in the past, but not that time.
I find nickels too, but it's by sound, not ID.

Congrat's on the gold ring, their always fun to find.

I'm sorry that you did not find any silver but who knows you may have found all the silver there but then again you was only their for a hour and using a 6" coil. So you could not of covered that much ground in such short of time so their just might be some silver there yet....

Well, today was a better test day for the Digger. My 3 hr test turned up another fat 11.7g gold ring-10k, 2 silver Rosie's and a pocket spill that included 2 keys, a toy padlock key, a 5 yr -one day at a time- AA chip, an aluminum cross, a tweezers, one copper penny, an older aluminum hair clip, and a .8g 12k gold earring.WOW!
I'd say the Randy Horton special has paid for itself already!

:clapping: Congratulations!
Now you are beginning to see why we begged for so long to get a coil like the DIGGER.

Like they say on most of the forums,,, If you don't post pictures then you didn't find it, lol

Congrat's on the nice finds and it would be nice to see pic's of your finds too...

Here are some pics. I forgot to mention the few pieces of clad with the single key in the pic. I also included a pic of the trash collected. I'm gonna try to come up with a ratio of good target to bad by the years end,so I am saving all my trash and labeling it separatly to each site. Might sound silly, but I'm kinda curious, and I want to know just how many targets I dig and (approx.)how many hours it takes.
