3rd time back to the carnival spot for me...

I hit a park by me that used to have carnivals. Its all clad coins. But I went back this morning and found
28 more quarters.
7 dimes
and 10 pennies
with 1 1952d wheat cent

I am still only cherry picking the quarters, but I went for the occasional dime or penny.


The 3 times I went combined I found:

quarters 74
dimes 10
nickels 1
pennies 23
and 1 wheat cent 1952 d

Very nice. But why only quarters?? I take dimes also!!! I don't know the age of the park but if you get a zinc penny reading at 5" I would dig it. I pick up indians that way and my $10.00 gold piece from 1893 gave that kind of reading on my machine!!

Some of the neighbors that border the park said they were going to buy machines soon, I want to get the quarters first, then the dimes, then the pennies and nickels. LOL

Good going on all the quarters! Get em while u can or someone else will! Sounds like you have a place that has not been detected to death and your detector may be the first to get over those hidden coins! Could be a ring or two there and eventually u may find em if no other detectorists get to it before ur finished! Thought I would use a little Computer language! Not used to that, as I like to type correctly so I don't forget as I do a lot of typing of stories, poems, letters and etc.!

Thats what im thinking, but I used to go to the carnival years ago so I know exactly where to hunt. The site is in a big park, but the carnival was confined to 1 small corner, that where I stay. I havent had any real luck in the other parts of the park though.

You know the Computer language more than I do.....I knew nothing when I first started using a Computer! Didn't even know what LOL was until Pete explained some of the wierd words to me! I know that BTW means by the way now, but still get lost at times in knowing what letters only mean! But this ole gal is learning........GRADUALLY!
