[attachment 123893 4-16-09oldhotelfinds.jpg]Hello everyone took my Garrett GTI 2500 out today to a 1800's hotel site i have found many good old targets there.found a old big flat button,a half of a crotol bell,a 1860's rimfire spencer shell, piece of a old suspender clip,modern clad,shotgun shells,back of a pocket watch ect hope you enjoy! by the way any ideas on the age of the button ?

Great spot keep hitting it! The button may have a backmark on it that will show age by the maker, I'd guess early 1800's -> mid. Most definatley a choice spot to hunt. How's the iron content in the soil? Nail's?
