4 for 4 / Fourth silver hunt in a row.

NH Bob

New member
All different locations. Today was the site of an old school that burned. It is now a parking lot for a church. With a slope 1/2 way around it.
Got a brain fart and decided to get permission to hunt the slope. The slope was very sandy and figured there wouldn't be anything old there. But seeing I was already there, I'd hunt for a while.
They must have graded off the top to make the slope. The silver was at no more than 6 or 7 inches with plenty of sand under them.
Some silly ideas pay off.

Now thats how you detect!!!:detecting:

Good to see you finding some nice Silver to add to your collection. WTG with the Barber Quarter! It looks to be in nice shape. That site is definitely one that should be revisited. Good Luck and HH and hope you find more Silver for No. 5.:detecting:

sweet digs bob...silver is...oh i mean spring is in the air

Bob you guys are having incredible finds everyday! It is awesome how much silver these machines suck up!:clapping:

were gone long ago, thus not much for Barber or Newer Coinage. That is part of the reason I am sure but then again, those Old Sites you were detecting before were giving up Old Coppers every now and then, which would make me want to detect them even though the finds were few and far between and the Silver was non-existent. Its good to see you finding some Silver for a change though. Maybe your next Silver will be a nice Capped Bust Coin since you definitely have the History out your way. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH.
