4" searchcoil

Does anyone have any experience using the 4" coil.Just wondering about the depth.I have the standard 8" coil that came with my Quick Draw, then I bought a 10". I actually like the 8 better than the 10.This one area that I want to hunt is trashy I know, so I figured the small coil might be better, just not sure how deep it's good for.

that coil is a must have for your detector. i have found my best finds with the 4 inch coil. you could get up to around 6 inches more or less , depending on soil conditions with it. absolutely deadly in trash sites. good luck and hh

i think you'll like it. different coils for different hunting situations. some people never take the small coil off their detector. i do on my rs landstar, because i like to use the 10 inch for relic hunting. hh

Just got my 4" coil, my first swing with it out back and it found a nickel for me. It is very easy to pinpoint with.I like it.

I agree, the 4 inch coil IS super! I use it in trashy areas with great success.
